Create a miniature Christmas tree out of colorful jump rings. Perfect as an ornament, a brooch, or a homemade decoration for a gift box. (We've even seen customers make earrings or a pendant!) To hang this ornament on a tree, you'll need to add a piece of wire or thread through the two tiny gold rings at the top of the star.

First introduced by Rebeca Mojica in 2005, this project has been a best-seller every year! Tree measures approximately 2" x 1.25".

Single kits include: 100+ jump rings to create 1 tree
5-pack kits include: approximately 450 jump rings to create 5 total trees

The "ornaments" come in 5 colors (yellow, red, violet, purple and turquoise) and each kit contains a mixed bag of those colors. This means some kits will have more rings in certain colors than others. Each "ornament" in the pattern consists of 2 rings--you can use the same color for both rings or use different colors in a single "ornament". Refer to the photos to see the difference: the main photo shows doubled rings of the same color, and the other photos show mixed colors.

Kits DO NOT include instructions. The instructions are sold separately because some people prefer to purchase multiple kits (while others don't want the materials and just want instructions).

Some customers only need the tutorial, as they purchase jump rings in bulk elsewhere. Additionally, some customers already know how to make a certain weave and only need materials. This way, each chainmailler can mix-n-match to purchase exactly what is needed.
