If you are a beginner, it is recommended to learn Byzantine as a 3-connector version with color.

After you learn the Box weave, move to Byzantine (also known as Idiot's Delight, Fool's Dilemma and Birdcage). Byzantine expands on the same concepts learned through creating Box and adds "connector" rings that look especially great in color. Once you've mastered this weave, you'll be able to explore a seemingly endless number of byzantine variations!

Kits DO NOT include instructions. The instructions are sold separately because some people prefer to purchase multiple kits (while others don't want the materials and just want instructions).

We sell kits and instructions separately in order to best meet the needs of most of our customers. Our instructions tend to be multi-page, full-color instructions and are best viewed digitally, where you can zoom in on the photos.
